WHAT IS RESIDENCY AT THE CROSSING?

The Crossing Residency program is a10-Month ministry immersion experience designed for vibrant young adults in Las Vegas who possess a deep love for Jesus and a heart for our city. If you're exploring a calling to ministry, driven by a passion to guide others into a transformative relationship with Christ, and eager to expand your leadership capacity, this program is for you.

Practical Ministry Experience

Our residency program provides hands-on ministry experience, with residents working across three ministry tracks during their ten months. Residents actively lead projects within their track, managing daily operations, building and leading teams, and navigating real-world ministry challenges. You'll be a valued team member, entrusted with significant responsibility and ownership. This immersive experience will equip you with firsthand knowledge of investing in others and impacting our community.

Ministry Tracks

Before your residency begins, we'll develop a personalized plan designed to maximize your growth. This plan will incorporate three distinct functional disciplines: your primary ministry track, a complementary track to broaden your skills, and an unrelated track to provide diverse exposure. Our goal is to immerse you in a variety of ministry environments, fostering well-rounded development.

Residency Roundtable

Over the course of the 10 months, we will regularly gather residents for times of processing, discussion, celebration, prayer, and conversation in a roundtable-style experience. We want to create a space where thoughts can be shared, questions can be asked, and feedback can be given.

Mentoring

To help each resident maximize their experience, they will be assigned a Crossing staff mentor who will provide coaching, counseling, and guidance toward personal growth. In addition, each resident will have the opportunity to report to three different staff supervisors as they progress through their ministry tracks.

Experience

The Residency offers full-time (24-32 hours/week) ministry experience with The Crossing staff, a weekly stipend, and valuable opportunities to participate in mission trips and attend premier leadership conferences.
